What does a peel do?

In this procedure, the upper, dead layer of horny cells is removed with glycolic acid so that the underlying fresh, intact skin tissue is revealed. This peeling also stimulates the underlying skin cells to regenerate. The skin surface looks much healthier and firmer and an even skin tone is created.
